We accept a client on the basis that he/she or his/her guardian agrees to:

sign a "terms of engagement" form before or at the first consultation.
give the appointed nutritional therapist permission to contact his/her GP or other therapists involved in helping him/her with the specified mood, brain or mental health condition.
confirm that for specific mental health conditions like schizophrenia, bipolar (manic) depression, he/she is in continual care of a GP and/or psychologist, psychiatrist.
unless otherwise agreed, payment is upfront after each consultation.

Confidentiality

All information supplied to Brain Nutrition, including online submission, is strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to anyone, including the client's own family without the client's consent. The exceptions are is in the case of a client under the age of 16 which requires information to be shared with the guardian and point 2 under Terms above.

All nutritional therapists at Brain Nutrition have been trained at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) and are full members of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT), the governing body which sets standards of professional practice.
We are also registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) which is the UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners. CNHC is endorsed by UK's Department of Health and supported by the Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health.
